Easy tips

Six easy ways to print greener

You don't need to change everything. A few simple choices make a real difference.

1

Order what you need

Print runs that match what you'll really use mean less waste, and less to throw away.

2

Choose recycled paper

Recycled stocks are great for leaflets, letterheads and slips, and they look good too.

3

Go natural

Kraft and uncoated stocks have a lovely natural feel and don't need heavy finishes.

4

Pick bio laminate

If you want a lamination finish, ours is biodegradable and breaks down after use.

5

Think reusable

Frames, stands and fabric displays can be used again and again, and just re-skinned.

Questions

Eco-friendly printing FAQs

Is eco-friendly printing lower quality?

No. Recycled and natural stocks give print a different, more natural feel, and many people prefer it. If you'd like to see the difference, ask us for samples.

What is bio laminate?

It's the lamination we use on matt and gloss laminated print. All of ours is biodegradable, so it breaks down after use rather than lasting for years like standard plastic lamination.

Are your inks eco-friendly?

Our litho ink is vegetable based. Our vinyl signs are printed with water-based HP Latex inks.

Where does your paper come from?

All our paper and card comes from recycled or sustainable sources.

Can you print banners without PVC?

Yes. Ask us about PVC-free banners and we'll talk you through the options.

Does eco-friendly print cost more?

It depends on the product and the stock. Tell us what you need and we'll show you the options side by side, so you can choose.

Can I read your environmental policy?

Of course. You'll find it on our environmental policy page.
