Holly Tree Lodges
A complete website redesign for a family-run lakeside retreat just outside York – eight hand-built Finnish lodges with private hot tubs, finally shown off the way they deserve.
A stunning place hiding behind a tired website
Holly Tree Farm had been transformed into a lakeside retreat with its own fishing lake and Scandinavian lodges assembled by hand. The website needed to catch up – and turn lookers into direct bookings.
The lodges deserved to be seen
Hand-built Finnish lodges, private hot tubs and a lake view – the old site simply didn't do the setting justice.
Every lodge is different
Hot tubs, saunas, pet policies and accessibility vary from lodge to lodge, and guests needed to compare them quickly.
Booking had to be crystal clear
With bookings split between Hoseasons and a direct calendar, guests needed to know exactly where to book – and when.
Accessible stays needed a proper spotlight
Two purpose-built, fully wheelchair-accessible lodges are a real difference-maker – and deserved to be easy to find.

We redesigned the site from the ground up around the lodges themselves: big, beautiful imagery, a page for every lodge and a clear path from “that looks lovely” to “we're booked”.

All eight lodges get their own page, with amenity icons for hot tubs, saunas, pets and accessibility.

A welcome video sets the scene the moment the page loads – the lake, the lodges and the hot tubs.
